We filmed the Real People, Real Life, Real Sex erotic documentary DAMON & HUNTER: DOING IT TOGETHER in early 2006, as a follow up to our bestselling films MARIE & JACK: A HARDCORE LOVE STORY, and XANA & DAX: WHEN OPPOSITES ATTRACT. Peggy and I always knew that we wanted the series to feature love stories from a diverse selection of people, and after talking to Damon and Hunter in a series of pre-interviews over the course of several months, they seemed as intrigued by the idea of doing something "kind of anthropological" (as Hunter jokingly called it) as we were interested in capturing their story on film. As in the rest of our Real People, Real Life, Real Sex series of erotic documentaries, the first half of the film is an interview with Damon and Hunter: how they met, how they fell in love, and what they love about being in love. The second half of the film is a candid love scene, every bit as warm and intimate as the interview. Damon and Hunter had been in a relationship for just over two years when we shot them. Both had some experience in the adult film industry, but they had never had the opportunity to just be themselves: to talk about their initial hesitation in moving their relationship from friends to committed lovers, to discuss frankly what they like about sex with one another, and what makes it special and different. Most importantly, they were free here to make love for the camera they way they wanted to, directed only by what they themselves wanted to have captured on film. They do use condoms normally, and the way it's incorporated into their lovemaking is both erotic and anticipation-building -- a terrific example of just how hot and connected safer sex can be.  Waste of money, waste of time. March 6, 2010

I was expecting something completely different. The story between the two guys was not interesting, both guys are feminine and neither of them are attractive. Save your money. If you're looking for romance or a good story, there's lots of other titles to choose from. If you're looking for porn, you can find free stuff on the internet much better.

Foolishly, I'd expected something better when I purchsed this film. Sadly, it is a self indulgent, tedious bore. The astonishing arrogance of the participants to think that anybody would want to watch them in action, over and over again. Cute and interesting they ain't!

So, first, let me get this out of the way...
This is a great movie! An amazing story from an amazing couple.
Throughout the movie, you really get to know Damon and Hunter throughout their interview (if you will) and understand their relationship, and that shows very well throughout the whole movie.
However, the part of this film that I really enjoyed was the bonus feature where Tony and Peggy gave commentary while the viewer watches the sex scene from a stationary camera and is able to view Tony and Peggy shoot it.
Being able to see the acrobatics the two go through to present their art is just amazing! Watching the stationary camera and then the pop-ups when Tony or Peggy starts filming and being able to watch their footage as the action is happening was a great experience.
One of the other reviews said it, this really wouldn't be interesting to anyone but film students, however I disagree. I think it just helps the viewer understand all of the hard work that the Comstocks put into their films, and really makes you appreciate them even more!

First, in case you are unaware of the format of Comstock Films' productions, they are split into two parts. The first part of the film is an interview with a couple, where they discuss their the ins, outs, and history of their relationship. Interspersed throughout the interview are short, 3-10 second long clips of the couple having sex. The second part of the film is the full, uninterrupted sex scene.
Second, I dare you to not develop a crush on these two. They are charming, adorable, and oh so hot. I liked pretty much everything about them. The interview is engaging and Damon and Hunter are great on camera. You get to hear them talk about how they met, how they waited a long time before introducing outside parties to their relationship, and how even then they only have do it with other people together. Also, it was very nice to hear a rural coming out story where nothing bad happened.
I'd recommend this to straight folks and lesbians who are interested in watching how two guys actually get it on. I'd recommend this to gay men who want their sex on film to have a serious back story. I'd recommend this, pretty much, to everybody.

I found this movie to be more of documentary than anything else, I wasn't that impressed with it. If you haven't purchased the movie don't waste your money.
